I was complaining to my son that Blogger needs a feature that lets you listen to music chosen to help your mood in writing about a specific topic. Sometimes the quiet makes me lack the sentiment I would like to pour into my words.
I was thinking about the inconvenience of blaring my melodies from the living room or hauling a boom box into the office where I write.
"Um, how about an IPOD. They're only, like, sixty dollars and you can download any song you want from right there at the computer. You can even plug it into the computer to use those speakers."
Yeah......well.......WHEN I WAS KID you had to put a cassette tape in a big bulky player with batteries that died after three songs, buddy, and it always snowed outside when you played it........and..........

I think on the same day I became my parents! It's quite subtle isn't it? I can totally hear my Kayleigh saying the same thing! I don't have an ipod and really never wanted one until recently! Maybe for Christmas?! Hope you're having a great wekend!
