I had just published my playful last post a minute ago when I backed out of blogger to find that an awful massacre happened today at a shopping mall in Omaha, Nebraska. I googled the location out of curiosity because my SIL and mom are returning to Omaha today from my niece's wonderful extended weekend with her family. It appears to be only two miles from their hospital on the very same highway. I have no reason to believe they were anywhere near the mall of course, but it just feels weird knowing that they have to return there today so close to something so tragic. Please pray for the victims of this horrific event. I can't imagine.

One of my writing critique partners works at that mall and was on her lunch break when it happened. Thankfully she's all right, but one of the people who was killed was a co-worker.
I read in the paper today that he killed himself that way so he "could die famous!"

Thanks for the tip on Ashley's pic and thanks for the compliment on my site. i wish I could take all the credit; and yes, I am going "BACK" to school, yet again, to learn how to do those things to make my profession. ... but I got that from a myspace website..." Pimp My Profile" (Great name huh) There are thousands to choose from and BEST OF ALL--FREE!!!! Some are YUCKY---Like risky--but some are very pretty like mine. If you google myspace layouts and find pimpmyprofile.. then you choose "blogger layouts" --it will take u forever to find them and then when you go to set it all up--it will erase all of your links and extra things on your page! Luckily my blog has not had much traffic yet so I could redo it all! My advice would be to safe everything on your computer before you change it (if u wanted to change)! Have a great weekend!
